Academy of Business and Industry

The Academy of Business and Industry focuses on careers in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating business functions essential to efficient and productive business. The business and industry sectors are among the most popular fields of study in higher education as well as the versatile sets of skills that can be applied in nearly every occupation.

    • The Animal Science students will apply concepts of breeding, physiology, nutrition, herd-health, economics and management into practical and profitable animal production programs. 

    • The Business Management program of study teaches CTE learners how to plan, direct, and coordinate the management and operations of public or private sector organizations.

    • The Culinary Arts program of study introduces students to occupations and educational opportunities related to the planning, directing, or coordinating activities of food and beverage organization or department.

    • The Plant Science program of study focuses on the science, research, and business of plants and other living organisms.

    • The Welding program of study focuses on the development and use of automatic and computer-controlled machines, tools, and robots that perform work on metal or plastic.
